Scripture against dating non believers
The Bible's teaching on this question is simple, clear and unequivocal: a believer may only marry another born-again believer.
To do otherwise is a sin that carries potentially life-long, negative spiritual consequences and personal hardship.

But some moments spin out of control before we even open our mouths to respond.
The farmer would chose a pair of animals that were similar in size and strength so that they would pull together in unison, creating straight lines in the field.
For some reason, when it concerns matters of the heart, we can often be swayed to wander further outside of God’s boundaries than we may on other matters. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them,’ says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.’ For those of you who are dating, or are tempted to date a nonbeliever, I’d like to challenge you to reconsider.

God’s love never failed me, even when I was tempted to bind my life to someone who rejected the most important part of me – my faith. I let a little charm and financial wowza persuade me into meeting someone who clearly had not marked “Christian” on the religion box. Did I really think I could take a guy with spiritual potential and convert him over to my beliefs? Looking back, I believe my rush to take matters into my own hands was really a lack of trust in God’s timing.
I was impatient that God hadn’t delivered a Christ-following man into my arms in the timeframe I desired.
So the concept Paul teaches us is that a believer must not become yoked together with someone who does not agree with the believer's perspective of God, faith, godliness and obedience to Christ.
